And Then There Was Plaid

10/03/2011

I remember as a little girl wearing plaid dresses and bows and as a teen plaid tennis skirts with knee highs. Plaid always seems to find its way back in style again. Plaid origins can be dated as far back as 400BC to 100BC.  It is a pattern consisting of criss-crossed horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colors. This fall the trend is everywhere. When using it in your event decor, try using it as accent pieces. For example on your napkins, on candle holders, overlays, chair covers or flower girl dresses.  To much plaid can be overkill. Check out these unique ways to incorporate plaid.

These are so cute! We just had to show them off.
